Norris-type adjuster mechanism combines feed and lateral adjustments, making blade setting accurate and easy
Close manufacturing tolerances reduce backlash to no more than 1/4 turn
Adjuster is locked to body; will not become inadvertently unseated
Mouth adjustment effected by loosening stainless-steel locking knob
Unobtrusive set screw in plane throat allows repeatable mouth positioning while preventing moveable toe from contacting blade
Toe completely enclosed by body casting
Blade is 1-3/8" wide, 9/64" (0.140") thick and available in A2, O1 or PM-V11„¢; blade has primary bevel of 23° and secondary bevel of 25°; back of blade is lapped flat within + or -0.0002" (two-tenths of a thousandth of an inch) in working area
