The Veritas® Right Hand Small Plow Plane has been redesigned, previously an awesome choice for grooves, rebates and tongues, it is now capable of doing decorative beading. The 168mm long fence registers against the workpiece for accurate planning, it has even been predrilled allowing an alternative fence to be fitted.

Large brass knobs allow the easy fitting of blades, with dual guide rods and a special collet locking system both assisting in preventing racking during use. The adjustable shoe, which is secured by a brass knob, controls the depth of the groove or rebate to a maximum of 12.7mm and has relieved edges to avoid marking your work.

The large ergonomic wooden handle has been well designed to make controlling the 800gram, 228mm long ductile cast-iron body. Its blade bed has machined at 45°. Designed to take Tongue Cutters, to make tongue and groove joints, Beading cutters to make decorative beads, or straight cutters in either Metric from 3mm to 18mm, or Imperial from 1/8" to 3/4".
